Writqo, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Writqo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. This Policy applies to our website, accounts, writing workspace, support, and related services.

Information we collect

  • Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, sign-in provider details, and messages to us.
  • Content and workspace information, such as drafts, prompts, project instructions, uploaded files, sources, AI requests and responses, feedback, and exports.

  • Information from connected services when you direct us to import, export, or authenticate through them.

How we use information

  • Provide accounts, the editor, AI-assisted features, project memory, exports, support, and transactions you request.
  • Authenticate users, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce limits, and diagnose failures.
  • Maintain, analyze, and improve performance and feature quality.
  • Send transactional, security, support, and legally required notices.
  • Comply with law and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

AI processing and model training

We transmit only the content and context reasonably needed to provide an AI feature you request. Provider processing is subject to contractual controls and the provider’s practices. We do not use your private writing to train a general-purpose Writqo model, and we do not permit advertising based on your private writing. You remain responsible for deciding what sensitive information to submit.

How we disclose information

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to hosting, database, storage, security, authentication, communications, customer-support, payment, export, analytics, and artificial-intelligence providers; connected services you direct us to use; professional advisers; a buyer or successor in a corporate transaction; and courts, regulators, or other parties where disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, and we do not profile users to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage reasonably necessary for sign-in, security, preferences, and service operation, and limited measurement used to maintain and improve the Services. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and honor legally required opt-out signals.

Retention and deletion

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including to maintain an account, provide requested features, complete transactions, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal, accounting, and security obligations. Retention depends on the data type, sensitivity, risk, and applicable law. After a verified deletion request, we delete or de-identify covered information within 30 days where practicable, subject to lawful exceptions and backup cycles.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure. Please report a suspected security issue to [email protected].

International processing

We are based in the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use lawful transfer safeguards.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your information; access it; correct inaccuracies; delete it; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling. We do not currently conduct the three opt-out activities. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

To submit a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may verify your identity and authority. Where Delaware law applies, we aim to respond within 45 days and may extend once by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, with notice. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will explain our decision and provide the appropriate regulator contact when required.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
