Terms of service
Last Updated on August 10, 2026
These Terms of Service are a binding agreement between you and Writqo, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Writqo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, creating an account, or using the editor and related services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
- You are responsible for accurate account information, the security of your credentials, and activity under your account. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
- You may not register accounts through bots or automated methods, and your use must comply with our Usage Restrictions.
The Services
Writqo provides an AI-assisted writing and editing workspace, including draft feedback, rewriting suggestions, project instructions, sources, and export tools. Features may evolve. We do not promise that every suggestion will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purpose, and you remain responsible for reviewing and approving your work.
Subscriptions, trials, billing, and taxes
- Prices, billing intervals, trial periods, included features, and taxes are shown before checkout. Paid subscriptions renew at the displayed interval until canceled.
- When a trial ends, paid AI features may require an active subscription. Core features and plan availability are described on the Pricing page.
- You authorize the displayed charges and agree that payment processing is handled by our payment provider. Cancellation is governed by our Cancellation Policy; refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
- Nothing in these Terms limits a non-waivable consumer right.
Your content and AI processing
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content.
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or similar to output provided to others. You must review output before publishing or relying on it. The Services are not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
Acceptable use
- Do not violate law, another person’s rights, privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights.
- Do not submit malicious code, harass or exploit people, facilitate fraud, or generate unlawful content.
- Do not bypass access controls, probe vulnerabilities, overload the Services, evade quotas, or reverse engineer protected parts of the Services except where law prohibits this restriction.
- Do not misrepresent AI output as verified fact or as our endorsement.
Service ownership
Writqo, Inc. and its licensors own the Services, software, visual design, and original materials, excluding your content and third-party materials. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for lawful personal or internal business purposes.
Third-party services
The Services may use or link to authentication, payment, hosting, storage, analytics, communications, export, and artificial-intelligence providers. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct.
Security, availability, and changes
We use reasonable safeguards described in our Security Overview, but no service is completely secure or uninterrupted. We may modify or discontinue features, suspend abusive use, or update pricing. We will provide notice of material changes when required by law or contract.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to protect the Services or others, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, or address a material breach. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING OUTPUT AND FOR YOUR DECISIONS.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WRITQO, INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
Governing law and forum
These Terms are governed by Delaware law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to any non-waivable consumer right to bring a claim elsewhere, the state courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we consent to those courts.
General
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary and the remainder will remain effective. A failure to enforce is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a corporate transaction or by operation of law. These Terms and the incorporated policies are the entire agreement about the Services.
